Jalen Rose talks ESPN's "The Fab 5", his MVP choice, and what's wrong with the Lakers and Knicks
I was invited to attend a pre-screening of ESPN's much anticipated "30 for 30" documentary, "The Fab Five". If you consider yourself a basketball fan, the film absolutely had to elicit some type of emotion -- be it in favor of, or against what the former Michigan freshman stood for. Jalen Rose was in attendance and immediately after, we spoke to him regarding initial reactions to the film.

Tyreke Evans, the NBA’s reigning ‘Rookie of the Year’ and star point guard for the Sacramento Kings, took some time away from his training to chat with The Hoop Doctors' Kevin Burke at an EA Sports event in NYC this past weekend. We didn’t get a lot of time with Evans, as he was on a fast paced schedule, but we did get enough time to ask him not only about his offense, but his more underrated lock down defense.

NBA Hall of Famer Dominique Wilkins, aka ‘The Human Highlight Film’ was kind enough to take a few minutes out of his busy schedule to chat with The Hoop Doctors Kevin Burke at EA Sports' "Triple Double" event in NYC this weekend. Of course we had to hit him up on his thoughts about the ’state of dunk’ today and the best in game dunkers. But aside from that dunk fodder we had to ask ‘Nique about Lebron James to Miami. Sorry folks who are sick of hearing about Lebron and Miami, but Dominique was one of the legends from the Jordan, Bird, Magic era that we have yet to hear from. Check out what the Human Highlight Film thinks about LBJ to Miami.

Back for it’s 3rd season, the award-winning Gatorade REPLAY stages re-matches of classic games between some the nation’s best high school sports teams and gives former teammates the chance to prove once you’re an athlete, you’re always an athlete. This year, it reunited two South Side Chicago high school basketball powerhouses, Bloom Township and Brother Rice, whose 2000 super sectional game ended after a questionable last second tip in at the buzzer.
This past Saturday, the two teams played the re-match game and the head coach of Brother Rice was Dwight Howard, while Dwyane Wade coached Bloom. The Hoop Doctors were at the game and had the chance to catch up with Dwyane Wade shortly before tip-off to chat about his thoughts on the Miami Heat and the upcoming season.
